Detection of Vitiligo Using Optical Sensor Based on 2-D Photonic Crystals

Abstract This structure proposes the creation of optical biosensor that can be used to detect vitiligo caused pigment loss. For accomplishing this, a pair 2-D photonic crystal structures, such as K3 and K7 resonators, are examined. The study both resonator structures is succeeded using (FDTD) Finite Difference Time Domain. Lumerical simulation tool model these in Domain (FDTD). subsequent properties different pigmentation human skin investigated, refractive indexes information entered into find variations several pigments produce vitiligo.
